Traveling to Carnival with RioBela was life changing. I was excited but honestly intimidated, and Valeria made everything feel safe, organized, and welcoming from the moment I landed.
What stood out the most was the connection with the other women. It felt like empowerment, support, laughter, rehearsals, and therapy all at once. Marching in the parade felt powerful and emotional — people cheering, some even crying, and we were part of that magic.
The experience was so incredible that I returned again the following year. RioBela gave me friendships, confidence, and memories I’ll carry forever.
